Information we collect and how it’s used
- Information you provide – When you sign up with IMWT, we may ask you for personal information. We may combine the information you submit with information from other IMWT services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information.
- Log information – When you access the services of IMWT via browser, application or other client our servers automatically record certain information. These server logs may include information such as your web request, your interaction with a service, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your account.
- User communications – When you send email or other communications to IMWT, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. When you send and receive SMS messages to or from one of our services that provides SMS functionality, we may collect and maintain information associated with those messages, such as the phone number, the wireless carrier associated with the phone number, the content of the message, and the date and time of the transaction. We may use your email address to communicate with you about our services.
- Location data – IMWT offers location-enabled services. If you use those services, IMWT may receive information about your actual location (such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device) or information that can be used to approximate a location (such as a cell ID).
- Unique application number – Certain services include a unique application number that is not associated with your account or you. This number and information about your installation (e.g., operating system type, version number) may be sent to IMWT when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers (for example, to request automatic updates to the software).
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, protect, and improve our services (including advertising services) and develop new services; and
- Protect the rights or property of IMWT or our users.

Why we collect personal data
We collect and use personal data mainly to perform sales, marketing and customer service. We also collect data about suppliers, partners and persons seeking a job or working in our company.
We may use your information to:
- Send you marketing communications when you have requested it. This may include information about our services and products, events, promotions and associated partners’ products and services. This communication is subscription based and requires your consent.
- Send you information about services you have purchased from us.
- Perform sales activities when a legitimate and mutual interest has been established.

Collecting personal data based on consent
The collection of personal data based on consent from the data subject will be done by using “consent forms” that will store documentation related to the consent given by the individual. Individuals consents will always be stored and documented in our systems.
Collecting personal data based on contracts
We use personal information in order to achieve our obligations related to contracts and agreements with customers, partners and suppliers.
Collecting personal data based on legitimate interest
We may collect and use personal data if it’s considered to be of legitimate interest, so long as the privacy interests of the data subjects do not override this interest. Generally, to establish the legal basis for data collection, an assessment has been made during which a mutual interest between In Marketing We Trust and the individual has been established. This legal basis is primarily related to our sales and marketing purposes. We will always inform individuals of their rights to privacy and the purpose for collecting personal data.
The type of personal data collected
We collect name, phone number, title, job position, company name and email address. We may also collect feedback, comments and questions received from you in service-related communication and activities, such as in documents, meetings, phone calls and emails. From our websites we may collect IP-address and actions taken on the site.
If you post comments on our blog, the information can be read by anyone and used for purposes over which In Marketing We Trust has no control. Therefore, In Marketing We Trust is not responsible for any information you submit as a comment to the blog.
If you apply for a job at In Marketing We Trust, we collect the information you provide during the application process.
In Marketing We Trust does not collect or process any special categories of personal data, such as public unique identifiers or sensitive personal data.
How long we keep personal data
We store personal data for as long as we find it necessary to satisfy the purpose for which the personal data was collected, while also considering our need to answer your queries or resolve possible problems, to comply with legal requirements under applicable laws, to attend to any legal claims/complaints, and for safeguarding purposes.
Therefore, we may store your personal data for a reasonable timeframe after your last interaction with In Marketing We Trust. When the personal data collected is no longer required, we will delete it in a secure manner. We may process data for statistical purposes, however, in such cases, data will be anonymised.

When you use IMWT’s services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardise the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Because of the way we maintain certain services, after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.

We may pass your information on to our distributors, agents, sub-contractors and other associated organisations with the purpose of them providing services to you on our behalf.
If required by law
We will disclose your personal data if required by law, or if we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights as a company and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. However, we will do what we can to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.
Sub-contractors (processors and sub-processors)
If the sub-contractor processes personal data outside of the EU/EEA area, such processing must be in accordance with the EU Privacy Shield Framework, EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfer to third countries, or another specifically stated lawful basis for the transfer of personal data to a third country.

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where we store personal data.
We restrict access to personal information to IMWT employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
